A new beginning
(Sorry. I just had to start the new year off with a cliche! :)
Greg's nearly packed. I haven't started, but that's my goal for the day. He's off the entire week, I'm only off Thursday. I'm going to try to get off Wednesday, too, so I can head out to metro-Detroit for a hug from the Goddessdaughter who is visiting family out there.

The goals for all races are simply to finish in the time allotted. We'll run when we feel like it, walk when we feel like it, but probably take it easier in the half to save anything strong we might have for the full. And we fully intend to have fun, too -- so there will be no "resting up the legs" prior to the races!
And of course, we plan on walking the 5K with Mom (who broke her toe on Christmas Day!).

Once again, I'll be switching domains soon. To recap my short but domain-filled blogging career: Rose started me out at scribbles.nu. Then I moved to my own domain using Movable Type. (A short stint at LiveJournal may have been sandwiched in there, too.) Then my hosting company SUCKED so I changed hosting companies. The new host wasn't set up for MT. So I moved the blog to TypePad. Now my host is set up for MT. So why should I pay an extra fee every month for TypePad, right?
The development process will be S L O W because I am a code dunce. And I just decided that the blog will be a WordPad blog instead of MT (if I can import all of my entries).
I'll give you plenty of warning when the change happens and I'll leave this site up to give you plenty of time to change your links.
