I have a bachelor’s degree in business, and have 10 years working experience in the banking industry. I feel like it’s time for me to move on and make a change to another career because I’ve basically been in a dead end job all this time. What are some good careers I can easily transition into? Some people have told me either nursing or teaching. I like both but I’m also open to anything else where my skills can easily transfer.

I have a few career paths I am considering, and the one I can find out least about is becoming a speaker. When I say speaker I mean someone who is given a topic to speak about and then draws up a talk about that topic, or something similar as I am not entirely certain what the main requirements are of speakers and what sort of companies want them to speak about. Could someone please inform me on the varying types of ‘speakers’ out there, and what their qualifications (if they need any) would be? Also a rough outline of what they might be asked to speak about? Thank you!

Right now I have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and in the future I might leave engineering to pursue a business career in finance or accounting. How would I go about doing this? I plan to get a MBA so I think that would help with the switch. Do I need to get a bachelors in accounting or finance?

I was curious to see if there was anyone out there who has made a major career switch from engineering to business OR anyone that has made a major career switch that is unrelated (eg: finance to dentist) and how they went about it.

I would love to travel for a job when I’m older, whats a job that isn’t too hard to get into that involves getting to travel around the world, that isn’t a flight attendant or a pilot etc.

Also it would be better if the job involves the flights etc being paid for by whoever i work for.

A sincere question. People always say to make your passion into your career. Well, there is nothing that I like other than pulling one over on others. I mean this in many contexts. I think that classical pranks that leave people emotionally distrubed are quite fun, but I also enjoy cons where I take their money from them.
I enjoy getting into people’s heads and have studied enough psychology to be somewhat decent at it. The only career that I know of that utilizes this is sales but I am looking for other ideas?
