Hello, I am a Cadet in the Army and will be commissioned at the end of this school year. My question is I met a girl who is joining the Navy reserves and plans to become an officer too but won’t be able to for at least another half school year. My question is we have so much in common and have a lot of fun together but I was just wondering how strict the reserve side would be on dating somone from another branch who is also in the reserves and is planning to become an officer but isnt at the moment? I know there is a good chance that I wouldnt even half to sneek around because in the reserves no one would even know since it is a once a month thing but I dont really want to get in trouble at all.

My boyfriend graduated as an Animal Vet major w/ a 3.35 GPA. He has lots of volunteer hours and extra curricular’s…I think he has a little bit of leadership experience. He hasn’t had a job in 3 years, so he cannot get a letter of recommendation from an employer. All together, he is afraid of being underqualified. Animal Vet science is A LOT of chemistry.
He is speaking w/ a recruiter.
He passed the initial exam that lets his apply to different programs. He’s looking into Surface Warfare, Intell, and Supply
HE IS NOT TRYING TO BECOME A VET IN THE NAVY. His degree is a cross between bio and chem, and it’s a precurser for anything in health sciences or any other particular science. He is co-published in forensics medicine.

I’m thankful that he is not deployed, I don’t know how I would handle that, but my boyfriend is in the Army and is across the country for several months. How can I avoid the depression while he is gone? Living in a seemingly empty apartment now, how can I fill the void that seems to **** the life right out of me? Any suggestions that avoid getting pets would be so helpful.
