Are there any advantages at all?

Especially when men can often benefit from this sort of legal activity.
I find it silly. Oprah’s done like 5 shows on this topic from what I’ve heard, on various topics basically all claiming the same accusation.

What do you think is the net transfer or wealth from men to women in the US each year?

I have an idea

Take these into consideration:
1. men paying for dates
2. Men taking on the greater share of housing and expenses when a couple.
3. Child support and alimony
4. Inheritance and pension when the man statistically dies 6 years sooner.
5. Tax funded entitlements specifically for women (men pay a greater percentage of the total US tax burden)
6. Any other suggestions?

I’ll bet with all these elements combined, there’s a net transfer of wealth in the hundreds of billions of dollars from men to women every year.

How prevalent is prejudice against men regarding looks in today’s society?

I’m not really talking about employment and such. When it comes to love and seeking a partner, more women seem to be acting like the shallow men whom they criticise. You may reject this idea, but you know it’s true, with all the post modern materialism seeping to our brains regardless of gender. Feminists and women cry out the plastic culture of America but men suffer the problem as well. I thought out this after I found an article about increasing number of men who are buying *** doll because so many women have rejected them.

Why do some Men feel that Women should exist for their pleasure?

**Not a generalization of all men. Some men.**

Formed from a previous question, I am wondering why there are still men who think that us women must exist only to look **** to them. That we are here to wear heels, dresses, caked on makeup, never cut their hair, and act ********** just for their pleasure. It is one thing for a woman to look attractive, but it is another thing to expect us to spend hours everyday just getting ready, all in order to appease some man we don’t even know.

Where do they get these stupid ideas?

What were the reasons that men and women fought against the right for women to vote?

Even though this country had legalized slavery, black men were given the right to vote before white or black women. I think it’s interesting that sexism was more powerful than racism, in this case. Why do you think men and women fought against the right for women to vote, for so long?

Are any of the arguments used then, still used today to justify sexism?

How is believing that men should have equal rights to women disturbing? How does masculism equal chauvinism?

It seems lots of feminist men and women, running around with the slogan: “feminism benefits men too!!” shout MISOGYNIST, or CHAUVINIST, every time a man is sceptical about feminism, or even mentions men’s rights around them. Aren’t they just acting they’re living in some Orwellian matriarchal society, where if men speak out for their rights, or doubt the supposed global benefits of feminism, then their prejudice pigs.

I **** patriarchy too, but unlike you I don’t endorse a matriarchy.

I often hear that the majority of people in poverty are ‘women and children’.
I’m curious if anyone has any information for the number of ‘men and children’ who live in poverty. I have a suspicion it would be the majority of people in poverty as well.
Ginger, thank you for avoiding the question.
Ginger, if you look to the answer above yours, it mentions statistics, answers the question about men living in poverty – and doesn’t go off on a tirade, either.
