Wheels for the Elvis Impersonator
LOOK WHAT I FOUND ON EBAY
![]()
Elvis may be dead, but his impact in the automotive world continues unabated.
Witness this little gem found on eBay this month – a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible that apparently is all the more appealing because it’s a car that the seller believes would have been irresistible to Elvis.
For all his musical talent, Elvis wasn’t a very discerning guy when it came to his cars. Just tour his collection in Memphis next time you’re there.
So maybe this Eldo ragtop has some Elvis charm.
The seller – presumably the guy in the white King of Rock ‘n’ Roll costume -- says the car has 83,000 original miles and is in top shape with not a whole lot of shakin’ goin’ on. Even the factory 8-track tape works!
Bidding was to have started at $9K, but with about four days left, no one had found the thought of owning one of the last great Detroit behemoths worth the investment.
Maybe if the seller threw in the Elvis getup?
